... my summer vacation has ended a few days ago and personal life stuff like my education will be taking up more of my energy and time from now on.
Because of this, and just getting used to my new situation, no Rise of the Rabbit comics will be posted this week.
I will continue to try and upload pages, but I can no longer promise anything big. But don't think this will mean a hiatus! I would not do that unless it was absolutely necessary.
After all, drawing keeps me grounded and is a great way to break away from the stress!

My 'Brilliant Diamond' Playthrough
This originally was going to be a Status Update, but there ended up being too much information to include because I have decided to take my own approach to my "Brilliant Diamond" game. (And for reference to the original Diamond/Pearl game release, I was 10 years old when my brother and I shared this game! :wow: ) Originally, I had no intention of playing either one of the Sinnoh remakes because I originally didn't see any point. However, a relative of mine was kind enough to gift my brother and I the duo pack for Christmas once they learned that we both liked the franchise. :) Since I didn't want this gift to "go to waste" so-to-speak, I decided to brainstorm up a set of my own rules to set for myself to make the playthrough more interesting after seeing different examples of game challenges in the online fandom: 1) I can only catch and train Pokémon that I have NEVER used before. This is to ensure that there is a new challenge for me, particularly for those that normally
Upcoming DA Decade + Future of this Account
This kind of update has been percolating in mind for quite some time, so I thought I would write this up considering that my 10-year anniversary for this DA account will be coming up soon! :wow: I was originally going to write up a review for my 'Pokémon Shield' play-through because I have very mixed feelings about this game (especially in light of all the controversies before and after release), but I eventually lost motivation for it and decided to scrap the project entirely. ^^; A summary of my thoughts is written below if you are interested (outside of any comments I made in previous status updates): As always, I thought the graphics and music were great. :D Special mention for the 3D aspects allowing even further immersion with the roaming and all the European inspirations despite any imperfect glitches that occur with the animation. The Wild Area was a nice change in setting for the sake of weather and Pokémon variety - particularly for types that would otherwise appear later
College and COVID-19
With summer almost coming to an end (already! :faint: ), I thought I would send out a personal update on myself. :) Today was my last day of my summer employment and I'm feeling ALL the emotions right now. :crying: Amongst my many privileges, the job in a different horticultural sector that I thought I would never work in has been a pretty good silver lining amongst the chaos right now. My seasonal employment in the turf department at a reputable golf course went well, barring some hiccups from some honest mistakes and inability to handle a mower right away. My colleagues were all very civil and respectful, and I received a lot of positive feedback and attention from them. :D Working on the gardens in the afternoons in particular was very relaxing during this tumultuous time, and the patrons were always so happy to see the plants bloom so nicely from the main gardener's planting and watering endeavours. :aww: On the side, I have been trying to spend time with family whilst
The Events and Effects of my Graduation
Ugh, June started off roughly for me. Not only had I sunken into a melancholic funk emotionally for a week, but I've had to go through two instances of ear infections and an annoying cold that has spread through my family home. On my recovery day today, I wanted to commemorate this entire university journey of mine, what it has meant to me, and what this will mean for my future.
So, as of May 31st, I am a Bachelor of Science - major in Biology graduate with distinction (i.e. my cumulative average was equal to/higher than A-). I admit, I was fairly frazzled during my convocation because of nerves and the fact that I don’t do well with
